The layered thermo-welded construction gives the shoes a smooth and comfortable fit that also minimises weight. This is reinforced internally to add strength and durability while the thermo-welded TPU zones offer protection from rocks, roots and anything kicked up off the trail. Michelin X-Fire Sole The X-Fire Sole brings together the characteristics of two of Michelins most popular MTB tyres. Using a dual-compound design, a soft inner for grip and harder outer edges for enhanced durability and wear-resistance, X-Fire is tuned for grip on all surfaces. An aggressive tread pattern features across the toes for optimal grip on loose pitches while the heel tread provides extra stability as your heel hits the ground. The cleat area is expanded for quick and intuitive cleat engagement with an extra range of adjustment so you can get the most efficient cleat position for smooth pedalling. The X-Crossbow design also provides outstanding support alongside shock absorption, offering comfort across the roughest terrain.
