The dhb Merino Long Sleeve Base Layer (M_175) blends the highest quality super-soft Australian Merino wool with COOLMAX® polyester to deliver a breathable, moisture-wicking yet insulating, close-fitting top. An ideal first layer for comfort during cold-weather workouts and extended aerobic activities such as running and cycling, this high-performing top can also be worn as single layer in mild conditions. Flatlock seams reduce chafing. Merino blends Merino wool is often blended with nylon and polyester yarns to provide additional durability, faster drying time and dimensional stability without sacrificing its natural properties. Adding Elastane helps stretch and recovery. The result is a high-performing fabric that can stand up to more washes and longer use. dhb yarns can be traced back to non-mulesed sheep on farms in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Recycled polyester Made by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new fibres, recycled polyester production requires less energy and reduces CO2 emissions when compared to virgin polyester. dhb uses Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified rPET.
