Multi-shell In-mould Design An inner shell made of EPS hard foam is formed into a three-part outer shell, offering excellent protection across the front, sides and back of your head while remaining low in weight.  The multi-shell in-mould design also sees a durable outer shell bonded to a shock-absorbing EPS core. In the event of a crash, this combination of durable outer and shock-absorbing foam liner dissipates impact forces, protecting your head from injury. Inside the EPS core itself, the ActiCage Lite system provides structural support and crash integrity, allowing Abus to strip weight, and optimise the size of the vents while making no compromises to your protection in the event of a fall. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head. Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. A good-fitting helmet is essential for both safety and comfort. And here the Zoom Ace MTB adjustment system makes it easy to get the perfect fit. With the rear dial and the built-in height adjustment, you'll be able to get a secure fit every time you ride. And with ponytail compatibility, long hair isn't going to prevent a good fit either. A FidLock magnetic buckle makes securing your helmet fuss-free too - simply click and ride.  Trail features If you love to ride trails with MTB goggles to keep your vision clear, the Cliffhanger features Abus' GoggFit system. This allows you to secure the goggles to your helmet when you're not in need of them. The Cliffhanger also has a height-adjustable visor, fending off low-hanging branches and overgrown bushes by the trail. In its uppermost adjustment, it also makes space for pulling up and stowing goggles, ideal for moments when you're taking some time to rest, grabbing a snack, and readying yourself for the fun of the next trail. There is also compatibility with QUIN chip system (Chip not supplied) - this works alongside the QUIN app to send an SOS should you crash - keeping you safer on remote trails.
