Facing into the weather, the front of the Mortirolo VI Jacket is made with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast fabric. This provides you with protection from cold winds, and with a fleecy inner it's brilliant at insulating against cooler temperatures too. However, getting too hot can also be the enemy of cold-weather comfort, leaving you damp and chilly. To combat this, Castelli uses their highly breathable Warmer fabric to the back. While insulating, it doesn't have a membrane and so offers greater breathability than the front, preventing you overheating and getting drenched in sweat. An easy-sliding YKK® front zipper makes the control of ventilation a simple one-handed affair, while out back three pockets provide ample space for all your essentials.
