This system is designed to reduce the rotational forces of impacts to the head. This is achieved via the dual-layer system whereby the helmets outer is able to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. The progressive layering of both inner and outer layers also offers more comprehensive protection than standard helmets.  Comfort is a Breeze When you're working hard on the bike, generating big watts and picking up the pace, sweat and heat build-up is inevitable. However, with 15 Wind Tunnel™ vents, the Helios offers a rush of cooling air over the scalp. Air is forced through internal channels to optimise the cooling effect and exhaust vents let damp, warm air out. The rush of speed is matched by the rush of ventilation.
