EVA Padding and Central Relief Channel The saddle is aimed at cyclists who prefer a shell without an anatomical opening. Its channel is designed to relieve perineal pressure by using a wider profile that runs along the whole length of the saddle. Another benefit is it also meets the specific needs of female riders with improved comfort and thicker EVA padding. Carbon Fibre Saddle Rails The saddle rails are entirely comprised of unidirectional T-700 carbon fibre, while for the main base, Repente’s R&D department used its renowned Long Carbon Fibres (LCF) technology. Instead of plain carbon fibre “chops”, longer carbon fibres are added to the resin, which thanks to a special injection process, are arranged to match the longitudinal flow of the material until they form a weave that increases the strength of the structure. Repente Locking System (RLS) The Repente Locking System (RLS) allows the cover to be interchangeable in one simple and safe operation. While maintaining the same base, different models can be fitted to suit your needs. If the cover gets damaged, you don’t need to replace the whole saddle. Comfort is provided by the central channel and by the ergonomic shape. Resistant to torsional deformation, the Repente Spyd 3.0 Saddle will let you find your most natural position on the saddle. Please note: Make sure your seatpost clamp is suitable for 7x9mm rails. The Repente carbon rails measure 7x9mm, so the seatpost clamp must accommodate this configuration.
