Created for the demands of road riding, and whether that's sprinting for the win, speeding down a fast descent or mixing it up in the peloton, the Assos MET Trenta (MIPS) Jingo RS Cycle Helmet is designed to give outstanding comfort on the bike and reliable protection in the event of a crash. At its core, the Assos MET Trenta (MIPS) Jingo RS Helmet uses an EPS foam liner, offering excellent shock-absorbing performance, providing head protection should you be unfortunate enough to bang your head. This is covered by a tough polycarbonate shell, increasing toughness and long-term durability.  MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Trenta also makes use of MIPS technology. This gives an extra level of brain-protecting technology, designed to redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts. MIPS-C2®’s system enables the helmet to slide relative to the head in the event of a collision, redirecting any potential damaging rotational movement.  • MIPS is a Brain Protection System • Rotational motion can cause brain injuries • The low friction layer allows a sliding movement of 10–15 mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact • MIPS adds protection Feel the Speed While safety is the primary concern, aerodynamic performance has in no way been compromised. The Trenta's tube-shaped tail and internal channelling mean that you benefit from up to 7% less drag than a more traditional road helmet. This is most effective when you're riding in a bunch so when it's time to attack, you'll be the freshest in the bunch. Whilst some aerodynamic designs can feel more closed in, the Trenta has been engineered to keep you cool. Only 30% of the helmet actually touches the head and the front NACA vent and rear deflectors channel air over the head for refreshing airflow when riding. Safe-T Orbital The Trenta also features MET's most adjustable fit system yet. The Safe-T Orbital allows two-step occipital adjustment, four-step vertical adjustment, and a micrometrical dial, all allowing you to fine-tune the fit and ensure your helmet remains secure.  Inside, the Air-mesh pads wick away sweat, preventing sweat from running down and stinging the eyes. They're washable too, letting you freshen them up after particularly hot and sweaty rides.
