XC, Enduro, 'Down-country', it's all about the thrill of the ride, and the Moventor 2.0 MTB Helmet (MIPS) is about keeping you safer when enjoying your mountain bike ride.  Should you find yourself losing grip, exceeding the limits of your skills or clipping a handlebar it's the Multi-Shell In-Mould construction that provides the first line of defence in a head impact. This sees an inner shock-absorbing core bonded directly to a tough and durable shell. The inner EPS foam soaks up and dissipates impact forces while the outer adds structural strength and fends off minor bumps, from overhanging branches for instance. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head. Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head. Safe and Secure Excellent safety is also matched with excellent comfort. A good-fitting helmet is essential for both safety and comfort. And here Abus' Zoom Ace MTB adjustment system makes it easy to get the perfect fit. With the rear dial and the built-in height adjustment, you'll be able to get a secure fit every time you ride. And with ponytail compatibility, long hair isn't going to prevent a comfortable fit either. There's also compatibility with the QUIN chip system (Chip not supplied) - this works alongside the QUIN app to send an SOS should you crash - keeping you safer on remote trails. Cool Head The Moventor MTB helmet has also been designed to optimise cool airflow. When you point your bike downwards and start picking up speed, the 10 air inlets and 9 air outlets provide good ventilation. Even at slower speeds, you'll enjoy excellent ventilation performance.
